GFS (Re)Cycle Stage 3: Recycled Material Extrusion

Once the plant machinery brings the fiberglass material to manufacturing-grade fiber form, some material goes to extrusion. Via the GFS extrusion production line, the material becomes thermoplastic manufacturing pellets, uniformly sized and ready for shipment to buyers. That's not the end of what products result from this process, but the beginning.

Through extrusion, GFS can manufacture a number of high quality infrastructure products. These include warehouse pallets for shipping, extruded floorboards and any product that uses a mold, such as manhole covers for streets.

The potential for the extruded recycled material is quite endless -- from the pellets GFS along with its clients and partners can manufacture flooring tiles, railway ties, parking lot bollards and much more.
